The arch building
In the arch building since 1977
Arco Bar opened in 1977 in the "prédio do arco", the arch building on the square now named after Fausto Correia. It calls itself a "Taberna-Moderna", a modern tavern.
For many years it was the only place nearby that served a bitoque at any hour, to people coming off a late shift.
In 2014 it changed hands and was remodelled, keeping its place as a "second home" for many locals.

Com novos proprietários, encontrei os "velhos" empregados e num espaço agradavelmente melhorado, a mesma qualidade, ou ainda melhor e um serviço excelente.
